The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Lab Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or someone early in their career who wants to gain hands-on experience in lab work and sports surface testing. There will also be occasional opportunity to work on site with our accredited engineers both within The UK and Internationally.
You will:
* Assist in conducting sports surface tests, initially under supervision
* Perform general laboratory duties, including sample preparation, equipment cleaning, and data recording
* Learn and develop skills in lab techniques, testing protocols, and health and safety procedures
* Support the team in maintaining a safe and organised laboratory environment
* Assist with our ongoing commitment to quality and to maintaining our UKAS ISO 17025 accreditation
What We're Looking For:
* Motivated, and eager to learn
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Basic understanding of laboratory work is a plus but not essential – full training will be provided
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability and punctuality
* Driving License (full UK) is preferred
