Community Mental Health Support Worker

The closing date is 03 June 2026

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of older adults?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Worker to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality, compassionate care to older adults with dementia and other mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with a well‑established team to deliver personalised treatment plans and support patients and carers as they navigate complex mental health challenges. The role may also involve occasional work with working‑age adults to support the wider goals of the service.

This is a rewarding and fulfilling position, ideal for a dedicated person wishing to develop skills, advance their career, and make a significant difference in the community.

Main Duties of the Job

Clinical Support Workers are responsible for delivering care and support for service users within the community mental health setting and reporting on their wellbeing under the guidance of a registered mental health practitioner.

You will also deliver a range of therapeutic interventions and other aspects of the service user’s care plan under the guidance of a registered mental health practitioner.

You will liaise with all relevant agencies essential to the health and wellbeing of the service user and their carers.
