We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Risk Quality Assurance Manager to join the Direct Line Group on a permanent basis!
What you’ll be doing
* Design a finance-wide quality assurance process aligned with industry standards, focusing on key controls, with real-time reporting for immediate control adjustments. This will be phased, initially emphasizing Actuarial processes.
* Act as a finance risk & assurance SME, providing robust challenge to protect the Group’s interests, ensuring key controls are operated as designed, consistently, and well-documented.
* Collaborate with senior management across the Chief Financial Office to ensure key controls are properly evidenced.
* Prepare reports for committees or senior management, providing real-time insights from quality assurance reviews across the CFO.
* Support risk and control activities to meet team objectives and key results.
* Guide teams within Finance on issue raising, assessment, reporting, escalation, and resolution.
* Support the ongoing operation of the FRCF, including oversight, communication, and education to finance and non-finance directors as appropriate.
What you’ll need
* Experience in auditing or quality assurance.
* Understanding of actuarial, financial control, and financial reporting processes.
* Experience in control testing or control design.
