Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a temporary to permanent basis. To manufacture their formulations to meet planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards.

LOCATION: Wellingborough
HOURS OF WORK: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating
BASIC SALARY: £16.03

Company Profile
Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a temporary to permanent basis. To manufacture their formulations to meet planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards.
In this Machine Operator role, you will:
* Setting and operating mixing machines
* Load and unload products
* Rotate across various machines often operating more than 1 at a time
* Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping
* Participate and contribute to daily briefings
* Actively participate in safety, quality and continuous improvement activities
* Develop skills and support the team to deliver consistent results
* Support all areas of the business, manufacturing and supply chain
In order to be successful as a Machine Operator you must:
* GCSE/ NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) or 2 years' experience in manufacturing operations
* Ideally a qualification in maths and English - must be competent in numeracy to read and understand numbers, batch cards and interpret technical instructions
* Experience in manufacturing / process industry
* Excellent verbal communication and team work skills to work with colleagues to achieve individual and team targets
* Desire to champion the company values
* Good understanding of company manufacturing
* Logical problem solving skills
