Job Description
The role of the Housing Surveying Admin Assistant is to assist the team in maintaining and upgrading the Council’s Housing stock, providing support to the asset team across a wide range of high value capital projects and repairs and maintenance. Work includes new build, planned and cyclical maintenance, large responsive maintenance work, asbestos management, and ensuring the planning and management of the Asset Management systems – setting up, testing, upgrading and operating the application.
Key responsibilities include:
* Recording all repairs and maintenance inspections accurately.
* Raising job tickets within relevant KPIs and ensuring all relevant documents are attached.
* Maintaining and updating the Asset Management systems.
* Working independently while seeking support from the broader team when needed.
* Contributing to innovative and forward‑thinking solutions within the team.
Qualifications
* Proficient in IT, with strong skills in MS Office and Outlook.
* Experience with databases and Autocad.
* Ability to work independently and manage a workload effectively.
* Preference given to candidates with experience in person‑centred environments or working with older and vulnerable client groups.
* Full induction and ongoing training are provided.
