We are recruiting a Personal Assistant (PA) to join the existing team of carers on behalf of our client, a young adult Actor who is currently working at the Birmingham Hippodrome. You will be part of his team of PAs who provide personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a difference to our client\'s personal achievements.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire (B98)
Shift Pattern: Live-in – Between 2 & 3 consecutive shifts per week, on a 3 week rolling rota.
Driving: A UK Driving Licence is required as you will be expected to drive our client\'s Automatic van.
Pay & Benefits:
* Pay: £180 per shift
* Free, Shared accommodation whilst on shift (to be discussed at first stage call)
* Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

About Our Client
* Graduated in Drama and Musical Theatre at Wolverhampton University
* Has Cerebral Palsy and uses a wheelchair full-time
* Personable and sociable with a good sense of humour
* Loves food and enjoys eating out
* Works 2-3 days a week at the Hippodrome
* Massive movie fan; enjoys Science Fiction and comedies; loves Doctor Who
* Independent and sociable, but enjoys leisure time like Xbox and Netflix
About The Job

You will assist with personal care, daily living, health care, social support, light exercising, and housekeeping. Care experience is not required as full training will be provided in our client\'s specific requirements.
About You
You may not have experience in every aspect of the client\'s care; full training will be provided. You must respect the client\'s privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.
You Will Need
* Automatic or Full UK driving licence (Essential)
* Graduate in a related subject or genuine interest in Drama and Musical Theatre
* Great sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously
* Physically fit, calm, patient and caring
* Good organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Mature and responsible attitude
* Good communication skills
* Fluent in English
* Clean and tidy in appearance and ways
