Logistics Coordinator Syston £28,000 + depending on experience
Responsibilities
* The Aggregates Logistics Coordinator is at the heart of a fast-paced, dynamic workplace. The purpose of the role is to ensure the seamless, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of aggregates (e.g., sand, gravel, crushed stone) to meet customer demands and project deadlines.
* Coordinate and manage transportation in a high-volume operation with rapid changes and tight schedules.
* Act as the central point of contact to ensure alignment between drivers, suppliers, and clients for last-minute changes and issue resolution.
* Maintain compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards in all transport operations.
* Contribute to delivering customer satisfaction and project success by maintaining a reliable supply chain.

* Strong multitasking: manage multiple deliveries, orders, and communication channels simultaneously with accuracy.

Qualifications
* Excellent knowledge of SAP, Syncrotess systems and standard office packages.
* Good communication and cognitive skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
* Experience of working within a large company environment and achieving targets is desirable.
