Principal Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer ready to take on a principal-level role within an electronics or electrical manufacturing environment? If so, our client has the role for you!
Our Nottingham-based client is looking for a hands-on engineer to lead improvements in calibration, compliance, and manufacturing processes to internationally recognised quality and technical standards.
The Principal Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
* Reviewing and improving all aspects of product calibration, including setting up a new lab and gaining ISO17025 accreditation.
* Ensuring product compliance with international standards (e.G. Safety, EMC) and supporting approvals for new markets or applications.
* Leading on NPI and acting as the interface between R&D and manufacturing. Driving improvements in equipment, processes, instructions, and training.
* Supporting sub-contracting and outsourcing initiatives where technical and commercial benefits exist.
* Maintaining ISO9001:2015 UKAS accreditation and driving quality improvements through training, testing, and reporting.
