Job Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk will;
3. Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and posting to the system.
4. Reconcile supplier statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
5. Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
6. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and documentation.
7. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
8. Respond to supplier queries and provide solutions efficiently.
9. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
10. Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
12. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
14. A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
15. Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and colleagues effectively.
