Role: B1.3 Licensed Engineer\n\nLocation: Gloucester Airport\n\nDuration: 6 months\n\nRate: £55/hour\n\nOutside IR35\n\nAbout our client: \n\nOur client is a leading provider of aviation services in the UK, supporting critical operations across defence, emergency services, and search and rescue. This is an excellent opportunity to join a trusted organisation delivering essential services across the UK.\n\nPurpose of role: Base Maintenance Activity at Staverton facility- including the Part-145 maintenance of EC-135 & H-145 aircraft\n\nMajor Tasks and Activities:\n\nInspection of systems, requesting spare parts, materials and equipment to safely deliver the planned and emergent Base Maintenance, Component Workshop and Aircraft Installations activity.\n\nWorking with Supervisors and Certifying Staff.
Ensures all set tasks are executed in accordance with relevant procedures, regulation and process. Notifying the Supervisors, BMIC, Head of Maintenance of discrepancies found and recorded.\n\nSupport of Line Maintenance for aircraft located at Staverton, including the liaison and de-confliction with our client's training School/ HQ Operations departments in support of pilot training service delivery targets.\n\nLocal support of the Hangars and equipment in Staverton via control of the Hangar Support Supervisor to ensure that facilities are maintained and presented in a professional and compliant manner. Actively follow the lean and safety cultures within your areas of work.\n\nKey Technical Skills / competencies:\n\nDemonstrable Good knowledge of Maintenance standards.\nPositive work ethic, able to motivate, inspire and develop people.\nA Base Maintenance & modification background, with strong technical knowledge of rotary aircraft airframe/engine systems.\nA good working knowledge of CAA regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, including application of SMS and Human Factors considerations.Company/Industry Knowledge: \n\n5 years UK Aviation industry experience, in particular Rotary Wing operations & technical support.
HEMS/Police environment advantageous\n\nQualifications:\n\nEASA/CAA Part-66 B1.3 AML, ideally with EC135 and/or BK117D2 type ratings.\nCategory C AML is a pre-requisite\nAddition of Category B2 AML desirable but not a necessityPlease apply if you want to be part of a leading global Aviation company that delivers complex, mission-critical solutions
