Join our Architecture Services team! The Architecture Services department is made of two technical areas; Solutions and Vendor based presales. The Solutions Architects focus on complex architecture with knowledge ranging more broadly across one or more discipline, whilst Vendor Architects specialise on providing expertise within specified vendors and provide a deeper level of understanding of those vendors. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Vendor Architect to join our team to drive the adoption of Cisco collaboration technologies. You will champion the value of Cisco's collaboration portfolio, using your deep hands‑on expertise to proactively guide customers from initial enquiry through to full adoption and successful implementation. You will be the technical lead on customer opportunities and expected to be delivering customer demos, workshops and assisting with the sales cycle working closely with Sales Specialists and Account Managers. You will work with our partners to assist in designing solutions and scopes. You will use your expertise to work with our customers directly to qualify and drive initial opportunities for Cisco's collaboration products and services. You will engage with multiple levels of customers contacts from technical experts through to C-level presentations You will play a pivotal role working with our consultancy team to develop the collaboration offering. The role requires you to demonstrate the skills of a subject matter expert, which means constantly striving to be at the top of your game in the latest Cisco collaboration technologies and methodologies. Although you are expected to be an expert in all things collaboration having strong experience within the Cisco technology stack, especially with the Cisco Contact Centre portfolio, being able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding across the wider collaboration portfolio would be key to this role to ensure your customer conversations remain Cisco focussed. As Collaboration Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for: · Helping to understand, scope and document customers' business and technical requirements alongside forming trusted advisor relationships with clients and our sales teams · Proactively driving Cisco collaboration opportunities working with our sales specialists and teams · Working with other Solutions Design specialists, Professional Services Consultants and Architects to develop cross-discipline solutions for customers · Working with the Softcat Sales Specialists and the Softcat Account Management team to provide detailed technical information and expertise to assist customers in their business needs · Clearly explaining Cisco value proposition, use cases and product, with playing a part in developing and driving the services forward We'd love you to have · A desire to share your knowledge and experience with those around you · A good level of business awareness and commercial acumen · Experience in successfully working with clients to articulate use cases for Cisco collaboration, explaining the benefits and requirements for a successful project · Experience in selling/delivering Cisco collaboration solutions at mid and enterprise market level · You will have a strong technical and product understanding of Cisco collaboration tools including key modules and customer use cases including standards for successful implementation We also acknowledge that the confidence gap and imposter syndrome are a real thing and can get in the way of us meeting fantastic talent, so please don't hesitate to apply – we would love to hear from you!
