Your main responsibilities
1. Carry out routine servicing of lift/escalator equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components and in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE, PDA, Expert+ etc)
2. To rectify and reduce faults on lift/escalator equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning
3. Checking the lift/escalator function as part of maintenance, checks to include, speed, motor start/stop, weight, noise, temperature and power supplies using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment
4. Conduct the routine inspection and adjustment of lift/escalator in accordance with approved procedures. Reinstate lift/escalator and complete service documentations
5. Carrying out more advanced fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques, technical manuals and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service
6. Conduct site surveys
What you bring
7. Experience in Lift/Escalator Servicing/ Maintenance/ Repairs preferred
8. Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift/Escalator maintenance or equivalent
9. Advanced Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including Multi-Brand equipment
10. Advanced problem-solving skills
11. Experience leading projects and teams
12. Full UK driving License
13. The ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and within efficiencies
14. The ability to work independently with a flexible approach
15. Good communication skills at different levels (Client/Service Leader/Inspectors)
16. Good Punctuality
17. Manual dexterity - Requires the use of hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate various hand and power tools and to record written information
18. Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills
19. Good administration skills
