Job description
Responsible for fabricating and welding steel components to specification, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Fabricate structural steel components
* Measuring, cutting, and welding to specification
* Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed
* Any other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Proven experience as a MIG welder/fabricator in structural steelwork
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Skilled in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
* Good problem solving skills and ability to work independently
Desirable Skills
* Forklift licence
