We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in Luton.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school, you will:
* Support students in lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable)
* Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
* Assist students with additional needs, including SEND
* Help maintain a positive and focused learning environment
* Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support student progress
* Promote inclusion, independence, and confidence
Who We’re Looking For

* Have experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, mentoring, coaching, etc.)
* Are patient, resilient, and proactive
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Are passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential
* Can build positive and professional relationships with students and staff
Graduates considering teacher training or educational psychology are particularly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Essential:
* Experience working with children or young people
* A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential):
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, degree)
* Experience supporting students with SEND
* Previous experience in a secondary school setting
