A day in the life of…

As a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor, primarily working weekends with flexibility during the week, you will work closely with the Head Housekeeper to lead and inspire the housekeeping team. Your role requires a proactive and innovative approach to team development and operational efficiency, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained throughout the hotel. You will accurately assess business needs for staffing, allocate resources effectively, and coordinate closely with reception and reservations to deliver smooth day-to-day operations.

Your leadership will be key in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment that guarantees guests have a first-class experience during their stay.

What do we need from you?

* Leadership Experience: Ideally, you will have at least one year of supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping or a related hospitality role. This experience should demonstrate your ability to motivate a team, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement.

* Attention to Detail: You must have a sharp eye for detail to ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate, tidy, and well-maintained, consistently meeting or exceeding brand standards.

* Management & Development Skills: You’ll be responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance skills and service quality. You should be comfortable conducting performance reviews and supporting career progression within your team.

* Time Management: This role demands excellent organisational skills to ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to and that operational deadlines are met without compromising quality.

* Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with other departments and for responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.

* Passion for Excellence: Above all, you will be driven by a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and upholding our brand’s high standards in every aspect of your work.

* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all housekeeping operations comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
* Inventory & Supplies Management: Monitor housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are maintained and that resources are used efficiently.

* Quality Control Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits of guest rooms and public areas, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
