Cyber Security Consultant
UK Remote | £45,000-£65,000 depending on experience, + Benefits

A growing UK security and data protection consultancy is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years' experience in cyber or information security who's ready for more responsibility, more client exposure, and a wider mix of projects.
What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced senior consultants, you'll support a diverse portfolio of short engagements and ongoing longer-term security improvement programmes. Depending on your background and interests, you'll gain hands-on experience across areas such as:
* Conducting cyber gap analyses and maturity assessments
* Supporting Cyber Essentials readiness and assessments
* Developing policies, risk registers, and governance documentation
* Assisting with ISO 27001 and data-protection compliance activities
* Helping shape security roadmaps and practical improvement plans
What You'll Bring
* 1-3 years' experience in information or cyber security
* An understanding of ISO 27001, GDPR, or broader information-security concepts
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, approachable style
* Ability to simplify complex topics and offer practical, grounded advice
* Motivation to learn, build your consulting skills, and work directly with clients
* UK-based, with full right to work in the UK without sponsorship
