Overview
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and highly professional team of community nurses in North Norfolk. This is a part-time permanent position within the NN1 Team based at Fakenham Medical Practice and Kelling Hospital site covering Fakenham, Wells, Holt and Sheringham GP surgeries.
The Community Staff Nurse role is supervised by Band 6 and Clinical Lead colleagues as part of the larger integrated team, providing high quality patient centred nursing care to patients in a variety of community settings. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking career progression and experience within a community setting, or for those with previous community experience, skills and knowledge.
You must be self-motivated, able to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning skills and have good communication skills. You will demonstrate a proactive philosophy to care, a “whole patient” approach, ensuring holistic care and involvement of all parties. You will be someone who believes strong and effective communication is essential and who strives to ensure quality patient care is your highest priority.
Responsibilities and Support
To assist you in delivering care you will be clinically supported by our Community Matrons, Clinical Leads and by a management team committed to patient centred quality care. You will receive support and development through in service training, regular appraisals, a personal development plan and clinical supervision. The NN1 Team is a key part of the ongoing development of our Primary Care Network, creating strong links between operational services and local GP practices. As an individual within the team, you will communicate and advocate for those receiving our services with GP practices, Social Services, Voluntary and Third Sector to ensure a joined up and outcome driven approach.
