Role: Process Commissioning Engineer

Are you an experienced Process Commissioning Engineer in the water sector? Do you have a background in chemical management of Wastewater & water Recycling schemes?
We are seeking an experienced Process Commissioning Engineer to join a team attached to a major clean water supply project. This role is Outside IR35 and requires full-time availability on a Bournemouth Water site in Bournemouth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing the commissioning activities for water and wastewater treatment plants.
* Developing detailed commissioning plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Carrying out site-based commissioning of process systems.
* Optimizing system performance to meet design and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborating with designers, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical challenges.
* Conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
* Delivering comprehensive handover documentation and training to end users.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in process commissioning, within the water/waste water industries.
* Background and relevant qualification in Chemical Engineering.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and lead site-based activities.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with contractors and operations teams.
* Comfortable with producing detailed reports and documentation.
