We are hiring an Assistant Footwear Technologist to join a high‑volume, quality‑driven UK retailer renowned for its focus on product excellence and customer trust. If you want hands‑on exposure across the full product lifecycle this is one of the best learning environments in the industry.

The Role

Working within a Childrenswear footwear team, you’ll play a key role from design concept to delivery, partnering closely with Designers, Buyers and Merchandisers to ensure product quality never drops.

• Support the footwear technology process across the full critical path
• Drive quality improvements, innovation and best practice
• Approve products and manage suppliers against agreed standards
• Conduct risk assessments and analyse product testing data
• Ensure compliance with performance, safety, legal and sustainability requirements
• Manage in‑season quality, audits and continuous improvement activity

What You’ll Bring

• Experience or qualifications in Footwear Technology
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, construction and performance
• Exceptional attention to technical detail
• A genuine interest in childrens footwear and product quality
