Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the upkeep of facilities and ensure that some aspects of our Health & Safety compliance are met.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
* Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
* Liaise with contractors, checking documentation and being a point of contact for them
* Ensuring paperwork and records are kept up to date, both in house and from contractors
Requirements
* Proven experience in maintenance roles
* Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication within the team.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
