We have opportunities for Care Workers within a beautiful care home located in Derby with immediate start positions available!
The lovely home houses up to 26 amazing residents who suffer with age-related illnesses, your job will be to assist these people with their daily life and help them physically and mentally.
Responsibilities
* Personal care (inc. strip washes, toileting etc)
* Following personal care plans
* Record keeping (such as fluid intake / condition updates)
* Assisting with the resident’s mobility
* Taking part in daily activities
* Completing domestic duties as required
* Generally being a friendly and supportive influence

Requirements
* Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
* Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. practical moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
* Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
* Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home.

The rate of pay is between £12.25 to £12.75 an hour, depending on the days worked.
