NHS Lothian – EHSCP Occupational Therapist (Band 5) – Rotational post through Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Astley Ainslie Hospital and Findlay House
Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our friendly, hardworking and dynamic intermediate care multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver bed‑based intermediate care services at Ellens Glen Community Hospital and Findlay Community Hospital.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to complex geriatric assessment, rehabilitation and complex discharge planning for frail older people admitted to the hospitals.
* Provide multidisciplinary team support in a professional environment where the contributions of all team members are respected and valued.
* Grow and develop as an Occupational Therapist within a supportive work environment.
Qualifications
* Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record or be able to obtain one for the required regulatory group.
