Job Overview
Are you an experienced operations professional who thrives in a complex, fast‑paced organisation? This is not a traditional administrative role. As an Executive Assistant at the University of Nottingham you will be a trusted partner to a member of our University Executive Board, proactively managing competing priorities, navigating complex stakeholder relationships and ensuring your executive can operate at their most effective.
From driving key projects and managing sensitive communications to coordinating governance activity and anticipating needs before they arise, this role demands sound judgement, discretion and confidence to operate at the highest levels of a complex organisation. Your day may involve coordinating a complex international travel itinerary, preparing briefing materials for a board visit, managing governance documentation for a high‑stakes committee, and keeping multiple priorities moving seamlessly in the background.

* The ability to manage a complex, fast‑moving workload and switch priorities without missing a beat
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent your executives voice and standards
* A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, anticipating needs before they arise
* An interest in how digital tools and emerging technologies can enhance the way we work

* A friendly, diverse, and supportive working environment
* A hybrid working arrangement with the blended approach of home and office each week
