The Role
* Plan and lead engaging Forest School sessions
* Create hands-on, nature-based learning opportunities
* Encourage exploration, risk-taking and imaginative outdoor play
* Track children’s developmental progress and support individual needs
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety
* Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create an inspiring outdoor environment
Requirements
* Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (essential)
* Experience working with young children (e.g. Nursery Practitioner, EY Practitioner, Forest School Assistant)
* Strong understanding of child development
* Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted standards
Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid required (or willingness to obtain).
