Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Infrastructure team based in Bath. 🔧 Role Overview:
You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team focused on delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions. You’ll take ownership of complex, multidisciplinary projects from early planning stages through to detailed design and implementation. The role involves a mix of technical delivery, team leadership, and client interaction.
🧠Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and deliver a variety of infrastructure projects (highways, drainage, utilities)
* Lead and support multidisciplinary design teams
* Prepare and review technical documents including reports, specifications, and drawings
* Support financial planning and monitor project performance
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
* Assist in business development and bid preparation
🎯 Candidate Profile:
* Strong technical expertise in civil infrastructure design (highways, utilities, sustainable drainage)
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage (or equivalent)
* Proven track record in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Chartered or working towards chartered status with a relevant institution
* Willingness to travel occasionally and support continuous quality improvement
