What will the temporary Assistant Management Accountant role involve?
Supporting the Financial Controller and Management Accountant in delivering accurate financial reporting
Assisting in maintaining robust management accounts, including variance analysis and presentation of results to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making
Handling overhead and specific cost area accounting, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations, to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Liaising with branches and external partners to streamline financial processes, sales, and collections, contributing to team efficiency and client satisfaction
Contributing to continuous process improvements and assisting during periods of absence to maintain workflow consistency
Suitable Candidate for the temporary Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:
Ability to support financial processes, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with branch teams, external partners, and senior management
Willingness to learn new systems and processes, with a flexible attitude towards varied responsibilities
Basic understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting practices preferred
