Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer located in Sheffield on a fixed-term contract initially for 6 months. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance, and managing maintenance and repair tasks. Additionally, the role involves ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and collaborating with other team members to maintain the museums\' facilities and equipment.
Qualifications
* Equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair skills
* Experience in preventive maintenance and maintenance engineering
* Proficiency in electrical maintenance
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
* Experience in a museum or heritage site setting is a plus
* Relevant certifications or a degree in maintenance engineering or a related field
