As our Engineer, you will: * Provide fast and efficient installation, diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance to all the machinery, plant and equipment within the factory, keeping the Senior Works Engineer fully informed and up-to-date; * Carry out basic electrical fault diagnosis and repairs; * Work with the Senior Works Engineer to facilitate large or major repairs to plant and equipment; * Assist in the development and implementation of a planned maintenance programme in consultation with the Senior Works Engineer; * Demonstrate the effectiveness of planned maintenance through reducing numbers of breakdowns and problem-free equipment installations; * Purchase sundries, machine parts and services, in liaison with the Senior Works Engineer, with due regard for stock levels and overall budget; * Arrange, assist and direct external contractors for specialist work or installations in consultation with the Senior Works Engineer and Technical Director; * Participate in the technical aspects of capital investment decisions;...
