We are a managed service provider who have exclusively partnered up with an exciting Aerospace company near Oxford to handle their entire recruitment process as they search for a to join them on a long-term contract basis. They manufacture revolutionary technology supporting the ever-growing advanced air mobility sector out of their state-of-the-art facility. You will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic work environment. It will initially begin as a 6-month contract with the opportunity to continue on an ongoing basis.
The successful Scrum Master / Process Automation Lead will have the following responsibilities:
1. Chair regular standups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives with the software development team.
2. Ensure the Azure boards are maintained and accurately reflect the state of development.
3. Owning the impediment backlog.
4. Develop meaningful, relevant and inciteful development metrics and dashboards.
5. Establish a safety critical DevOps process framework compliant with RTCA DO-178C DAL A.
6. Lead the deployment of Azure DevOps with CI/CD pipelines for automated test activities.
7. Peer reviewing of artefacts produced during the development of the system.
8. Supporting communication between the software development team and the wider project team.
9. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating cross-team activities.
10. Responsible for the verification aspects of the software development process for Design Assurance Level (DAL) A of RTCA DO-178C.
The Verification Software Engineer will ideally have the following skills or experience:
11. Degree or equivalent in software or electrical engineering
12. Previous experience in the development and verification of embedded software in safety critical products, e.g. to RTCA DO-178C (or DO-178B) DAL A or B or ISO26262 ASIL D/C.
13. Experience developing code in C programming language.
14. Experience of scripting, for example in Python.
15. Agile software development & DevOps methodologies and industry best practices for software development.
16. Experience with Azure DevOps.
17. Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, codeBeamer or Dimensions CM
