We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Oakwood, working as a Senior Administrator. This role is offered on a permanent, full‑time basis, working 37 hours per week.

HMP Oakwood is a Category C men’s prison located in Featherstone, Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It is one of the largest and most modern prisons in the United Kingdom. The teams' aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe, and where causes of prison stress are minimised. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy, or be willing to gain within agreed timescales.
* Hold, or be willing to gain within agreed timescales, a Level 2 qualification related to ICT or Business Administration OR have relevant industrial experience and skills.
* Provide excellent customer service across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Have experience contributing to an effective and efficient administration within a busy office environment.
* Have experience maintaining accurate electronic and paper‑based data, using data recording systems as required.
* Have time management skills.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate up to date IT skills.
