Permanent, Full-time
Salary:
£27,976 to £29,000 depending on experience + call out + overtime

Your Responsibilities:
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in our Operative team, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of highway services across the Somerset network. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Promoting customer care by working closely with team members and ensuring polite interactions with clients and network users.
* Responding to highway defects within designated timescales and updating relevant parties using tablet devices.
* Utilizing tablet applications for incident management and emergency repairs, while maintaining accurate records of work performed.
* Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and ensuring they are cleaned and maintained in good order.
What We’re Looking For:
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a full driving licence (LGV training will be provided once you meet necessary business targets).
* Can work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicating any faults or issues.
