Salary £36,363 - £40,777 Per annum | Permanent & Fixed Term 31/3/2029| Full Time - 37 hours per week

International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship

We have 2 permanent posts in Lancaster and Preston

And 2 Fixed Term contracts until 31/03/2029 in Hyndburn/Ribble Valley and Pendle

We’re looking for an inspiring Senior Family Support Worker (Community) to lead early help responses through our Team Around the School model—supporting children, families, and schools to thrive together.

This is a unique and rewarding leadership role where you’ll sit at the heart of your community—bringing professionals together, solving problems, and making things happen.

You will:

1. Lead and coordinate early help support through school clusters across Lancashire
2. Work directly with schools, families, and partners to provide timely, joined-up interventions
3. Act as a key point of contact for early help within your community
4. Build strong multi-agency partnerships to remove barriers and improve outcomes
5. Support staff delivering community-based services

You’ll combine leadership, coordination, and hands-on practice-ensuring families get the right support at the right time.

We’re seeking someone who is:

6. Experienced in early help, family support, or education partnerships
7. Confident in leading multi-agency working and influencing others
8. Skilled in identifying needs and coordinating effective responses
9. Passionate about early intervention and prevention
10. A strong communicator who builds trust and collaboration quickly

Are committed to improving outcomes for children and families
