About the Role
Protocol Education are recruiting for experienced Learning Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEND provision in Southend.
The pupils have a range of needs including autism, SEMH, severe learning difficulties and complex care needs. Some will require personal care, support with mobility, or help to manage behaviours and emotions.
This is a long-term, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with SEND, care needs or complex learning difficulties (school, care or personal).
Someone who is proactive, enthusiastic and high-energy – able to step in and support wherever needed.
A flexible and open-minded attitude, with the resilience to adapt to different challenges each day.
Confidence in supporting with personal care and pupils with medical or physical needs
A driver with access to a car would be helpful, but this is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
