Cleaning Supervisor – Temp to Perm

£14.00 per hour
Monday to Friday, 06:00am – 14:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)
We are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join a large, well-established medical company based in Witney. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stability and progression within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Cleaning with the management and supervision of cleaning staff
* Ensure all designated areas are cleaned thoroughly in line with schedules and checklists
* Oversee the correct use and storage of cleaning equipment, including ride-on and mechanical equipment
* Carry out regular equipment checks and report any issues
* Prepare staff rosters, monitor holiday leave, and maintain adequate staffing levels
* Manage stock ordering and conduct monthly stock takes
* Perform regular quality checks throughout shifts, ensuring high standards are maintained
* Provide hands-on support and training to team members where required
* Ensure timesheets are completed and submitted to Payroll on time
Compliance & Standards
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and Fire Policy
* Report hazards promptly to management
* Follow company/client procedures when handling customer feedback or complaints
* Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and uniform presentation
* Comply with strict site guidelines and procedures
* Participate in training to continuously improve performance
* Proactively suggest improvements and take corrective action where needed
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management

* Previous supervisory experience in cleaning or facilities management
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* A hands-on, proactive approach
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
