Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Therapist Hygienist based at North West Area Centre.
What you will do:
The post holder will support NHS Ayrshire & Arran Public Dental Service providing clinical sessions wherever required. Treatment will be provided in accordance with the range of dental treatment permitted for Dental Therapist/Hygienist as outlined in the General Dental Council scope of practice.
The post holder will develop the appropriate individual treatment plan and implement care.
The post holder will carry out National Dental Inspection Programme duties. The Therapist/Hygienist will also provide extensive oral health treatments and preventative advice to a wide range of patient groups.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Applicants must have Diploma or Degree qualification in Dental Therapy & Hygiene recognised by GDC. Registration with GDC and record of continued professional development.

Hours:
This is a full time position 37hrs per week Mon - Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
