TEMPORARY LONDON ROLE Energetic temporary nanny needed in Crouch Hill for 13–15 Weeks. Join a kind, welcoming family of four this summer, caring for a happy 4-month-old baby girl and a lively, curious 20-month-old boy. This sole-charge role is perfect for a warm, experienced nanny who loves planning engaging activities, enjoys being out and about, and can confidently support children in their early years. LOCATION : Crouch Hill, North London START DATE : Mid July HOURS : 9:30/10:00 - 16:30/17:00 (for 13-15 weeks) SALARY : £20-£22gph DOE JOB REF: DN0234 ABOUT THE FAMILY We are looking for a wonderful nanny for a kind and welcoming family of 4 that come highly recommended by their previous temporary nanny. Mum will be working on a freelancing contract and needs some extra hands for the duration - approximately 13-15 weeks. You will be caring for two delightful young children, a G4 months and B20 months old. Baby girl is calm, smiley and in a great routine and the little boy is social, curious and enjoys new faces. He has lots of energy so someone who comes with an endless list of fun activities up their sleeve is essential. He attends lots of clubs and activities during the week and there is plenty to do outdoors in the area. Dad works from home and mum will be working from home for the first 4 weeks of the appointment so there will be plenty of support and a lovely settling in period for the nanny. After the 4 weeks, mum will be working from the office but dad will remain WFH so there will be another adult on hand incase of any burning questions. They are looking for somebody experienced with these age groups who can hit the ground running. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Childcare : Despite the parents WFH, this is a sole-charge position and you will be responsible for all aspects of the children’s care. There is no cleaning or housework required, although you will need to be comfortable using a steriliser and happy to keep play and shared areas neat and tidy. Meal Preparation : You will need to be experienced with bottle preparation and confident preparing lunch for B20 months. No breakfast or dinner prep is required. Taking children to activities: The toddler attends lots of lovely activities in the area, the nanny must be comfortable taking him to different clubs and classes and be confident taking the baby along too. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for a gentle nanny who is: A driver : A confident driver is preferred but not a dealbreaker for the right fit. Compassionate: You must be kind, patient and gentle, being able to connect with the children and manage their behaviour positively. Experienced : Ideally you have 2 years of experience managing children of these ages. Activity focused: With lots of energy, the toddler loves activities so you’ll have plenty of ideas for fun, age appropriate things to do both in and out of the home. Located in London: You will ideally be within an easy commute of the family home.
