The role involves:
* Assisting, maintaining, and operating an extrusion line
* Efficiently changing the line, including material blends, process settings, and print adjustments
* Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
* Labeling, packing, and preparing finished goods
* Warehousing tasks, including storing finished products and raw materials
* Adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Following assembly sequences and procedures accurately
* Checking assembly quality against standards and using appropriate tools and equipment
* Positioning, aligning, and securing components during assembly
* Understanding and interpreting job instructions, procedures, and specifications
* Identifying and resolving production and assembly issues within responsibility limits

Qualifications include:
* Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard
* Functional Skills Level 1 in maths and English (if required)
