We are supporting a well‑established organisation in Wilmslow that is looking to appoint a Front of House Administrator to oversee reception operations while providing vital administrative support across the office.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, thrives in an organised environment, and can balance front‑of‑house duties with broader office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers
* Managing the reception desk and ensuring a professional front‑of‑house experience
* Answering and directing incoming calls via the switchboard
* Coordinating meeting room bookings and scheduling internal meetings
* Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
* Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to HR, finance, and facilities teams
* Registering, processing, and distributing invoices accurately
* Organising travel arrangements when required
* Ordering stationery, office supplies, and kitchen essentials
* Liaising with suppliers regarding office maintenance and repairs
* Supporting staff events and client gifting
* Maintaining health & safety documentation and ensuring compliance
* Keeping reception and office areas clean, organised, and presentable
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a front‑of‑house, receptionist, or office administration role
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confident using IT systems and MS Office
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
* Flexible and proactive attitude
