About the role
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Your role is to ensure a positive and productive learning environment while maintaining classroom behaviour and supporting students as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences
* Ensure students remain on task with the work set
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide support to students where appropriate
* Report back on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff
* Previous experience working with young people ( in a school, youth work, coaching, or similar role)

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:
* Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role
* A confident, professional and adaptable approach
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for supporting young people in education
* A valid DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role
