Between Chertsey and Woking, our clients very established Nursery are looking for a Senior Nursery Practitioner for a room based Nursery Deputy Manager role. You will need to have experience of supporting and leading teams within a Nursery setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hrs this role is offering a salary c £33900 plus with great benefits, onsite parking and on good transport links.

Essential for the Role
A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting
Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
Ideal Candidate
Passionate about early years education and children’s development within a nursery setting
Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team
Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards across the setting
Promotes best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery supporting the team on a daily basis

Requirements
What are Clients are looking for Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare. At least 3 years experience of working within a day nursery Experience of a management role, in leading and supporting a teams. Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life. A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum. Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported. Team Player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach. Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
