Job role: Learning support assistant (LSA), secondary schools
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Contract: Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)
Start date: Flexible
Daily rate: 90 per day
Your Role As a Learning Support Assistant
At term time teachers, we are looking for learning support assistants to join our growing agency team to support secondary schools in Tunbridge Wells by assisting pupils who face challenges with their learning. Your role as a learning support assistant will include working closely with teachers, assisting with classroom management and offer small group interventions with students to enhance their engagement and concentration.
As a learning support assistant you should possess the following:
* A patient and understanding personality
* Eagerness to gain school based experience
* Reliability and adaptability
* Strong communication skills between pupils and teachers
* An enhanced DBS check (or willing to apply for one)
