Job Description
Job Duties:
The SEN Tutor will provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Duties include developing individualised learning plans, delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.
Required Qualifications:
1. A relevant teaching qualification
2. Experience working with students with SEN
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in SEN teaching
Knowledge and Skills:
1. In-depth understanding of SEN legislation
2. Ability to differentiate instruction based on individual student needs
3. Proficiency in educational assessment techniques
4. Excellent classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Additional training in specific SEN areas
2. Experience using assistive technology in teaching
Working Conditions:
The SEN Tutor position is part-time, with flexible hours. The role may require travel to different educational settings within the South East England region. The tutor will work closely with students, parents, and educational staff to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
