Main duties of the job
We are looking for a salaried GP to join our team between The Oaks Medical Centre and Blackwood Health Centre. You will work as part of a well‑functioning team consisting of GPs, ANPs, paramedics, nurses, HCAs, and back‑office staff. Each day is led by an experienced on‑call GP whose role is purely supervisory and supportive.
The practice has a family feel but values structure, recognition, and development for its staff. Sessions are available at multiple sites throughout the week.
Job responsibilities
The post‑holder will manage a clinical caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, delivering a high standard of clinical care to patients registered at the GP practice.
To work autonomously, the GP must provide medical services to the population, comply with the GMS contract, maintain GMC standards for good medical practice, and contribute to effective practice management. They will lead by example, maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
* Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice) and engaged in regular clinical work MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
* Minor surgery.
Experience
* Good organisational and IT skills desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient‑focused services.
* Record of ongoing CPD and learning.
