GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Teacher to work in a mainstream secondary school in Eastleigh. The role gives you a good mix of challenge and flexibility, letting you teach in your own way while using ready-made lesson plans.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Teacher:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons to secondary-aged pupils.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Encourage and support all learners.
* Mark work and provide constructive feedback.
* Communicate clearly with school staff regarding student progress and any concerns.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experienced teachers who are looking for flexible work are strongly encouraged to apply.
* Strong behaviour management and classroom presence.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Adaptable and confident teaching across different age groups and subjects.
* Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to apply for one.
* Provides a full CV covering the last 10 years with explanations for any gaps.
