We are seeking committed, reliable Drivers for our busy Client based in Yate. The work will consist of driving a HGV2 vehicle. You will be driving to places all over the UK covering areas including Manchester, Birmingham, Southampton, and London. Description

PAY: £29,.25 per annum
DAILY TIMES: 38.75 hours per week – Mon to Fri
Start times will vary from 05.00-08.00 daily

Vacancy – HGV2 Driver (Class C)
We are seeking committed, reliable Drivers for our busy Client based in Yate. The work will consist of driving a HGV2 vehicle. You will be driving to places all over the UK covering areas including Manchester, Birmingham, Southampton, and London.
Key Objectives:
•Driving HGV2 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
•Delivering equipment and consumables
•Responsible for ensuring stock and consumables levels are maintained with customers
•Updating relevant systems with information on deliveries and activities, tracking all KPIs.
•On return to the warehouse take undelivered goods to the relevant area
•Capable of lifting up to 40kg
•To be part of the multi skilled driving team, offering a high level of service to customers
•To be aware of, and as flexible as possible, to accommodate each customer’s specific requirements
•To be a front line “ambassador” of the company at all times, both with the customers and other members of the public.
Key Responsibilities:
•To adhere to all ISO, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies and Procedures
•To be compliant with the Company Vehicle Policy and regulations set out by the Department of Transport regarding Tacograph and working time regulations
•To respect company vehicles and always drive within the law
•To communicate problems, queries and customer requests promptly and in accordance with the line of communication issued
•To collect cash or cheques from customers when requested, not leaving goods where payment is not available without prior permission of a Manager or senior member of staff
•To be responsible for the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times
Requirements:
•Class C licence with less than 6 points
•CPC and Tachograph
•Must have positive, can-do attitude
•Available for full-time employment on a temp to perm contract
