An exciting opportunity is available for a Customer Service Representative to join a leading aerospace manufacturing facility based in Redditch. The Customer Service Representative will play a key role in managing strategic customer relationships while supporting production, planning, and supply chain operations in a highly technical and precision-driven environment.
The Customer Service Representative will act as the main point of contact between key customers and internal teams. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring smooth communication between customer buying teams and the Lakeside production and supply chain functions, helping to deliver mission-critical components used across advanced aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative:
* Manage customer demand through order entry and scheduling, ensuring accurate data is maintained within ERP systems
* Load and validate schedules from customer portals such as CEVA Matrix into internal systems
* Coordinate with internal teams to confirm and communicate delivery commitments via customer platforms
* Act as the central liaison between customers and production, planning, and intercompany suppliers
* Organise and support customer visits, including order book reviews with production and supply chain teams
* Maintain and develop knowledge of customer systems, supporting others in navigating and using these tools
* Analyse and report on customer metrics related to delivery performance and quality
* Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution, including clear communication and follow-up
* Support contract reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications
* Use internal tools to track issues, manage actions, and support proposals and quotations
Requirements for the Customer Service Representative at Redditch, Worcestershire
* 1–3 years of experience in sales, commercial, or customer service roles
* Understanding of supply chain operations, including production planning, purchasing, and logistics
* Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
