We are seeking someone who holds knowledge of the subject and is willing to gain an understanding of the KS2 curriculum and how this supports progression to Key Stage 3, likewise for KS3 and how this supports progress into KS4, being a key person who is able to build relationships with students ensuring that gaps in prior learning can be closed. Northcroft School is seeking a Science Technician who is well organised, has firm and fair boundaries and who can support a teacher in delivering a well organised and sequenced curriculum which brings learning to life using a primary approach to Key Stage 3 learners, all of which is supported by a dedicated team and West Berkshire Local Authority.
It will be crucial to have the ability to work collaboratively with Amegreen Educations Primary School in contributing to the development of the Science curriculum, fostering critical thinking, analysis, evaluation, and create skills. Students attending Northcroft School thrive from a dedicated enrichment curriculum which will run alongside the science curriculum offering students access to firsthand experience and expose them to environments which they may not have previously been able to access.

Essential requirements:
* GCSE or equivalent in Science or above
* Excellent organisational skills
* Reliable and a good role model to young people
* Previous experience within education
* Keen to learn and develop skills which will enrich the students lives
* Skilled in working ICT
