Responsibilities
* Carry out designated tasks within the Endoscopy Department, providing direct care support under the supervision of a registered nurse.
* Act as an effective member of the team.
* Following appropriate training and assessment, undertake clinical and non‑clinical duties in support of the registered nurse.
* Support patient preparation, admission, and post‑procedure care.
* Assist during procedures (e.g., positioning patients, handling equipment).
* Carry out cleaning and safe equipment turnover.
* Maintain stock levels and ensure clinical rooms are set up correctly.
* Provide reassurance and basic care to patients throughout their visit.
* Assist the nursing team to keep the department running smoothly and maintain flow.
