Property Operations & Maintenance
The Langham, London; Europe's first Grand Hotel is currently recruiting for a Handyperson to join our talented Langham Service team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of a Handyperson, your key focus will be to:
* take responsibility for the effective maintenance and repair of all reported defects during your shift
* take responsibility for the general PPM of all rooms on a regular basis
* carry out shower head cleaning quarterly
* carry out the replacement of all lamps and tubes in all areas within the hotel
* keep control of all stock levels of materials you use
* attend to guest requests for Adapters and Transformers
* be flexible to assist any other maintenance colleagues in day to day duties and emergencies
Do you have? –
* reasonable knowledge of guest rooms maintenance
* previous experience in a similar role is essential
* previous experience in a similar style environment is desirable
* logical approach to problem solving
* good communication skills
* basic PC skills
* customer service focus
* flexibility to work variety of shifts, including early, late and weekends
