About the role We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager to join our Asset Management. You will be positive and solution-focused in everything you do to deliver outstanding services. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing the Asset Management Strategy, and for overseeing the delivery of cost‑effective approaches to managing our assets and ensuring the safety of our properties. This exciting opportunity will lead on delivering the organisation’s investment and compliance programmes, ensuring that Trident meets its legislative and regulatory requirements relating to the safety and quality of our homes. What you’ll be doing Provide clear, inspirational leadership to the Asset Investment team, ensuring effective management of people, resources and services. Lead the maintenance, investment and performance management of the organisation’s assets, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Oversee the provision of high‑quality data, analysis and innovative approaches to support strategic planning and informed decision‑making. Prepare and present high‑quality management reports and KPIs to the Executive Team, Board and relevant Committees. Be accountable for setting, managing and controlling Property Services budgets and overall financial performance. Lead the development and delivery of the 30‑year stock investment programme, ensuring long‑term sustainability and appropriate financial planning. Develop and implement environmental and energy appraisal systems, with clear strategies to achieve SAP C by 2030 and net‑zero carbon by 2050. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in producing and delivering asset management strategies, with a comprehensive understanding of component cycles and the development of 30‑year investment programmes. Experience and expertise in preparing and presenting Executive‑level reports relating to asset management and compliance. A track record of managing significant budgets and developing long‑term financial investment forecasts, cost modelling, and asset appraisals across a portfolio. The ability to analyse data effectively to inform investment decisions, maintain asset compliance, and manage organisational performance. Comprehensive knowledge of building legislation, standards, and best practice within the Social Housing sector. A proven track record of delivering large procurement projects and overseeing contractor performance across an organisation. A degree or professional qualification in a related subject, along with membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIOB, RICS). Why Join Us?
